grnydldy2 - (August 26, 2005) This crock pot is way too hot. Even on the lowest setting everything I cook in it is burned in 3 hours. Contacting the company did not bring me any satisfaction. They did offer to "look at it" if I shipped it back to them and including the cost of return shipping which would have cost me an additional $32.

faithww - (October 05, 2004) The lid is not heavy enough to hold the liquid inside the pot. I have burned every meal I have cooked in it. I even tried putting double the amount of liquid that the reciped calls for and it still burns it. The low setting is more like medium so it just boils it out. I tried contacting the company to get and replacement lid and I have heard nothing.
Great when they work, but they don't last long
anserrman - (05/14/2012) I have now bought two of the Foodsaver Turbo models. The first one did work for five years and was used infrequently, but when needed, it was invaluable. When it stopped working, we purchased a new one -- now about one year old and used perhaps 20 times -- and it has now stopped vacuum sealing. This is the largest two motor unit Foodsaver makes. Needless to add, it is aggravating that with ultra care and infrequent use, this product simply does not hold up. Really a piece for landfill, the cost is great enough and ecologically it is unsound to toss it, so repair is the only recourse. It will be interesting to see how Foodsaver responds!

weird1s - (04/29/2012) I am a passionate, honest, sincere and diligent consumer and maven. I do my due diligence when making my purchases and buy the best keeping in mind the product as well as how the manufacturer stands behind their products. PLEASE do NOT purchase this product based on NUMEROUS product reviews INCLUDING mine. I experienced what so many others did thinking that there were always a few bad machines but as a whole the unit was probably wonderful. The machine works great for a few months, THEN that is when you the consumer begin the awful experience of "trouble shooting" from their website, You Tube, etc. When you open the box, the statement from the manufacturer should be THE sign to return the unit immediately! It tells you to KEEP the box and shipping material should you have to return AND do not return to place of purchase but contact Keurig direct. I did this. Then when I finally had enough of "trouble shooting" I was told I could get the most recent model for $80.00 more OR take it back to where I purchased it. I am a realist and do not expect perfection; however, I do expect a product to work without problems for at least a year with no problems, not 3 months. The customer service reps are good but their hands are tied. The corporate office is responsible for POOR options available to offer their customers. DO NOT BUY the potentially great product for your own sanity and pocket book. Shame on you Keurig corporate!
